We feel competent to treat and rehabilitate a wide range of conditions affecting the whole family. We adjust our treatment protocols to our patients needs.
Our team of physiotherapists are active sports women and we practice what we teach.
Lizanne Tucker
(BSc Physio Stellenbosch, OMT1)
Lizanne has been a practising physiotherapist since 1992. She has been the owner of Tucker Physiotherapy since 2000. She built this practise based on many years of varied experience, of which 3 years was spent working in the USA. She has worked in all physiotherapy fields, and feels most passionately about helping people with orthopaedic problems caused by sporting injuries or injuries of normal life. She tries to find the root of a problem and treat it through rehabilitation and education, to prevent future injuries. She continues to challenge herself with further education and also completed a diploma in orthopaedic and manipulative therapy in 2008. She stays up to date with new research in the field and enjoys sharing this knowledge with patients.
When she is not working, you can find her enjoying the outdoors with her family. She is an avid surfer and long standing rock climber. She also enjoys to pursue these hobbies in far stretches of the world.
Elmarie van Heerden
(BSc Physio Stellenbosch)
Elmarie has been working in private practice since 1999, including 2 years abroad in the United Kingdom, obtaining a wealth of experience in many areas, especially in orthopaedic conditions. She has been working at this practise since 2005 and is currently managing all services to our hospital patients. Here she found her special interest in managing patients under critical care.
She completed a Pilates training course, and enjoy presenting rehabilitative pilates classes to our patients. Elmarie is currently enrolled for a Masters degree in critical care physiotherapy.
Between the studies and work, she still finds time to stay fit and competes regularly in road and trail running. She loves the outdoors and relaxing with friends.
Dien-Marie Kingsley
(BSc Physio Pretoria)
Dien-Marie is a physiotherapist with more than thirteen years of diverse experience. She has a special interest in the treatment of hospitalised patients, especially within the areas of paediatrics, women’s health and geriatrics. She takes a personal interest in every patient and uses her people skills to treat and advise them with empathy and understanding of there situation.
Dien-Marie is a eager runner and has completed numerous half marathons. She also enjoys the outdoor life with her husband and two young children. She enjoys reading and stays up to date in especially child development research.
Annette Wetherall
(B.Sc. Physio (Stell), M.Sc. Physio (OMT) (Stell)
Annette has been working in private practice since she qualified in 1998 and has been part time at our practice since 2014.
Her special interest and post graduate training is in orthopaedic conditions and she completed her diploma in Orthopaedic and Manipulative Therapy (OMT) in 2008. She continued in this OMT field of interest and completed her Masters in Physiotherapy (OMT) in 2014.
She continues to keep her knowledge updated and is involved with post graduate OMT training and clinical supervision.
Annette loves animals and enjoys relaxing and spending time with her family and close friends as well as reading and arts and crafts when there is extra time.

Lorinda Dunckley
Lorinda has been helping Tucker physiotherapy to prosper on the the administration front, since 2005. She is currently in charge of our accounts department and will be happy to assist you on any queries, with friendliness and efficiency.
